홍영훈의 작업은 동물에서 시작되었다. 작가는 동물에 대한 집착적 관심을 여러 동물의 초상의 방식으로 드러내기 시작했고 최근에 이르러서는 개별 동물에 대한 재현을 생태계의 여러 동물의 관계를 그것들이 속한 공간과 함께 그려내고 있다. 발화가 어려워 의사소통에 어려움이 있는 장애는 동물에 대한 애정에까지는 미치지 못했다. 수많은 동물에 관한 관심은 그림에서도 발현됐고, 그 발현은 다시 동물에 대한 애정으로 돌아가고 있는 듯하다. 이번 전시<적색목록>은 멸종 위기종의 목록을 뜻하는 말로 다시 동물로 돌아가는 애정에 대한 여정이 인간의 이익에 의해 생태계에서 자립적으로 생존하기 동물의 군집으로 표현하고 있다.

두루아트스페이스에서는 발달 장애가 있는 작가들의 전시를 상/하반기 두 번 기획하고자 합니다. 

 

Hong Young-hun's work began with animals. The artist has begun to show his obsessive interest in animals in the way of portraits of various animals, and in recent years, the representation of individual animals has depicted the relationship between various animals in the ecosystem along with the space to which they belong. Disability, which is difficult to communicate due to difficulty in speaking, did not reach affection for animals. Numerous interests in animals have also been expressed in paintings, and the expression seems to be returning to affection for animals. The exhibition "Red List" refers to a list of endangered species, and expresses the journey of affection back to animals as a colony of animals that survive independently in the ecosystem by human interests.

Duru Art Space would like to plan exhibitions of artists with developmental disabilities twice in the first and second half.
