The earth leads to the sky.
Kwak Hoon's formative ritual has a deep material foundation: Sound. There is no spatial geometric order in sound, but instead there is an instrumental order associated with the axis of time which is a kind of algebraic order. In this respect, the material properties of sound are different from other general properties that cannot even capture the origin of order. Sound can certainly be said to have an open position in favor of the phenomenal world that spans between the body and the vanishing point.
Kwak Hoon has long expressed the world of rough land. It is detected that his work is becoming more inclined toward homogeneous spaces such as thinning of physical properties (By Korean paper work) and grids. Homogeneous space is a world of reason and order beyond the vanishing point. The title of this work is about tea. It refers to the world of silence, moderation, and meditation. The world of "land" that he had so far built upon his work has always been a world of impure and disturbing energy. His work attempts to return to the world of silence by refining and purifying its energy and resonating with this world.
